Laybuy challenges the old approach to money – to look at spending through a new lens. With a presence in the New Zealand, Australian and UK markets, we created a set of 9 bespoke etching-style illustrations that reimagine and modernize the traditional currencies from each region. We enlisted the help of Georgia-based Illustrator Tatiana Trikoz to beautifully craft each iconic character to bring this annual report to life.

Money is a powerful thing. The figures we instantly recognise on the face of currency are some of the most ubiquitous in the world. Presenting them with contemporary sunglasses not only reimagines these icons of money, but lets the Laybuy brand talk to its product empowering shoppers to see money differently. Initially designed to be used in an above the line campaign, these visuals were tailored to create Laybuy’s most visually impactful annual report to date.
